Happy Mother’s Day to all the awesome mamas out there. There must have been something in the water during last fall/winter, because EVERYONE around me is either expecting or just gave birth. Motherhood is hard. From the very beginning it is intensely painful, physically demanding, and emotionally and mentally exhausting. But I wouldn’t trade it for anything. But this isn’t my post this year…….it’s actually Rhiyan’s. So I’ll let her take it away (will not see this til Mother’s Day).
Hi everyone, it’s Rhiyan. I know how special and amazing and wonderful my mom is but I wanted to share my love for her with everyone this year. And I got her something she’s been longing for after saving my allowance. ANOTHER HAPPY PLANNER! smh … I hope you enjoy today Mom. I LOVE YOU!
Happy Mother’s Day

Mothers, how can we repay them for the continuous love and support they give us?
My mom and I have been going 13 almost 14 years, because she’s not only my mom, she’s my best friend. She deals with my weirdness and comforts me when I’m sad. She supports my pescatarian lifestyle even though I know she misses regular trips to Zaxby’s and Chick-fil-A. And even though we moved a lot when I was younger, I am now able to look back at those times and appreciate the sacrifices she made. I got to live in five different states and be exposed to college life, athletics, and fine arts. I have an extended group of family and friends all over the U.S. that would have never happened without her. I know I should not settle for what the world says I should be and do, because she didn’t. I know I can (and am praying that I do) graduate high school early and go to college to one day become a veterinarian. I like animals but we don’t have any (hint hint mom). One thing she always tells me and I hope she knows I listen, is to
KNOW YOUR WORTH. I hope she knows hers too.
These are just a few of the many things that she does for me. The truth is that we can’t repay them, the only way we can repay them for birthing and taking care of us is by showing how much we care. So call your mom and tell her you love her.
Let her know that you appreciate her.
